About Us

Cherry Picked Venues was founded and is directed by Sarah Cherry.  Sarah worked within Human Resource Management & Employment Law for 11 years and is a graduate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

She re-trained as a florist in 2005 and spent 4 years heading up the corporate and events sector for a London based florist group.  She has since been working for the group on a consultancy basis.

Sarah has worked closely with people involved in both sides of the event planning process – venue managers/owners and people planning a private or corporate event.

She has noted the difficulties faced by venues in finding an effective advertising source and also the resources required to optimise the events side of their business.  Likewise the unnecessary effort that a client has to endure to find the right venue.

Hence the launch of Cherry Picked Venues to provide:

  • Venues – with a cost effective platform for advertising and promoting their business and support in optimising their premises as a successful events venue.
  • Clients – with an effective means of finding the best venues for corporate events, private events & celebrations and weddings.
